- About the Platform
eventlbi.ie is an online event listing and ticketing platform operated by Latvian Society in Ireland (LBĪ).
The platform provides technical services only, enabling third-party event organisers (“Event Organisers”) to promote events and sell tickets online.
eventlbi.ie is not the organiser, promoter, host, or seller of any event listed on the platform.
- Role of eventlbi.ie
eventlbi.ie acts solely as a neutral intermediary platform.
The Event Organiser (individual or legal entity) is the seller of the ticket and is solely responsible for:
the organisation and delivery of the event
event content and compliance with applicable laws
refunds, cancellations, postponements, and event changes
communication with ticket buyers
eventlbi.ie does not verify the legal status of Event Organisers and does not assume responsibility for their actions or omissions.
- Ticket Sales and Payments
Tickets are sold directly by Event Organisers, not by eventlbi.ie.
Payments are processed via third-party payment service providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal or similar).
eventlbi.ie does not store or process card details.
A platform service fee of €1 per ticket is charged to the buyer at checkout to cover platform and administrative costs.
eventlbi.ie does not charge commissions to Event Organisers.
- Refunds and Cancellations
Refund and cancellation policies are determined solely by the Event Organiser.
eventlbi.ie is not responsible for issuing refunds for cancelled or changed events.
In the event of a dispute, ticket holders must contact the Event Organiser directly.
- Event Content and Moderation
eventlbi.ie reserves the right to review, approve, refuse, suspend or remove any event listing at its discretion.
The platform does not accept events that include or promote:
sexual services, adult content, pornography or sex-related services
violence, abuse, exploitation or harm to individuals
hate speech, discrimination or incitement to hatred
illegal activities or content contrary to public order or morality
content that may harm minors or vulnerable persons
All Event Organisers are treated equally and without discrimination.
Removal of an event does not create any obligation to refund platform service fees.
- Reporting Misuse or Fraud
Users may report suspected fraudulent, misleading or inappropriate events via the platform.
All reports will be reviewed and appropriate action may be taken at the platform’s discretion.
eventlbi.ie is not obliged to provide a direct response to every report.
- Website Use
Users must not misuse the Website, including by:
uploading harmful or malicious software
attempting unauthorised access or hacking
posting unlawful, offensive or misleading content
eventlbi.ie may cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required by law.
- Data Protection
eventlbi.ie processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and applicable Irish data protection laws.
For ticket buyers, the Event Organiser acts as the data controller.
eventlbi.ie acts as a data processor, providing ticketing and communication services only.

- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eventlbi.ie and Latvian Society in Ireland (LBĪ) accept no liability for:
event quality, cancellation or changes
personal injury, loss or damage occurring at events
actions or omissions of Event Organisers or venues

eventlbi.ie is not responsible for their content, availability or policies.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
